I am a Bay Area–based Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #128724), currently under the supervision of Amanda Summers, LPCC #10601.

I was born and raised in California’s Central Valley and now call the East Bay home. Before becoming a psychotherapist, I served for several years in law enforcement in the Central Valley and was enlisted in the United States Air Force for seven years, including one overseas deployment. These experiences deeply shaped my understanding of trauma, resilience, and the complexities of systems that impact individuals and families.

I identify as Black and Filipina. I was raised Catholic and now integrate Hinduism into my spiritual practice, which informs my holistic and culturally responsive approach to healing. I strongly believe that mental health care is for everyone, and that when given the right space, support, and tools, people can move toward meaningful healing. I am especially passionate about working with BIPOC clients and naming the reality that trauma is not always tied to a single event—it can also stem from lived experiences of racism, marginalization, and systemic harm.

I am also a mother who has experienced child loss. This lived experience has deepened my compassion and understanding of grief, mourning, and the long-term impact of loss, and it informs the care I provide to individuals and families navigating profound grief and life-altering transitions.

My work is rooted in service and community care. I have experience supporting underserved populations, individuals involved in the justice system, those navigating substance use challenges, veterans, and individuals coping with grief and loss. Together, we work through concerns such as depression, anxiety, cultural identity, trauma, and experiences of violence, with both adults and children.

My role is to help you better understand your truth, identify what may be holding you back, and support you in unblocking the obstacles that stand in the way of your growth and healing.
